vision

In May 2010 we returned for an extended visit to Atlanta to celebrate the birth of our first grandchild. Little did we know that we were about to embark on the journey of a lifetime. God was placing a burden in both of our hearts to move back to Atlanta. We had been away for nearly three years now and the thought of returning was not even on our horizon. God, could this really be you? Do you really want us to give up full-time salaried positions with benefits in an unsettled economy? Well, His answer was yes!

Having been in full-time ministry for three years on the West Coast, we experienced and counseled people in ministry: hurting pastors along with their wives and children who were dying on the inside and had nowhere to turn for help. Their families were often a mess and as a result, so were their churches. God had privileged us with a brief glimpse into some precious peoples lives' and we have got to witness that pastors are people too. We, as the Church, have placed them on a pedestal that most have never asked to be put on. In essence, we forget that they hurt, cry, make mistakes, fight, and face challenges just like you and I – only they have no safe place to turn.

God has birthed in our hearts to create a ministry rescue center where pastors and church leaders and other people of influence can go for healing and restoration. This will be a highly confidential refuge where someone in a high profile ministry position can get away to when they need help.
