What is the worth of a woman? And who makes that determination? Society tells us that a woman must be all things: have a successful career, be a great friend, pop out babies, maintain a picture perfect family life, all while keeping herself looking like Barbie in a swimsuit model's body. But what does God say about women?

According to the biblical account of creation when God made the heavens and the earth, His final masterpiece was creating woman. She was not an afterthought, nor created just because man was lonely in the garden. She was an intentional design to complete and perfect the universe. God spent his time fashioning woman knowing the multiplicity of roles she would ultimately have to play.

Made in God's image, woman would be given the most important job on the face of the earth. God has chosen women to aid, nurture, love, train, mend, grow and raise the next world leaders.

Ladies, it's time for us to step up and embrace our calling. Life is not about whether a woman should develop a career or be a homemaker. It's about understanding your God given calling. Let's get together and find out what it means to really be a woman.
